I have never felt so unsafe in a vehicle before.
My driver almost drove us into a wall. Not to mention the contant swerving. And unnecessary rough braking. Not once did my driver even get close to driving the speed limit.
The pricing is also incredibly expensive. Just get an Uber. This buisness is not worth the risk of your life and wallet.
I will never ride in a taxi ever again after what I just experienced.
I called several times through out the day to ensure that they could pick us up from Top Golf. Rose assured me that they were open 24/7 and getting back to Norfolk Naval base would not be a problem. I scheduled a pickup from Top Golf at 930 pm. At 9:35 9:45 10 pm the driver never showed up. I called and was immediately looped into voicemail with number prompts. My friends finally took an Uber to the base gate. When I finally arrived at home a rude unprofessional dispatcher called my mobile to ask if I still needed a ride. She did me a favor by hanging up the phone in my ear. She was rude, arrogant, and unsupervised.
I am thankful that an Uber took us back to our destinations. I would not recommend Coastal Rides to anyone ever. Use the Uber or Lyft.
Also known as "Z Trip". Had an early morning flight and arranged for a ride the week before. All seemed well. They even sent me a confirmation text. The morning of the flight they didn't show. I called and got an automated message saying that they couldn't find a driver. I almost missed my flight. If you have an important appointment, I wouldn't rely on this company.
Never used it personally but was just cut off very last minute by the car w/ the license plate 106213H on Oct. 1st 2025 @ about 6:00. Teach your employees how to drive before putting others at risk in their vehicle.
Car number 499 just almost wrecked my vehicle due to not yielding and following traffic laws. They then had the audacity to honk at me, despite them being in the wrong and not paying attention to when to yield. I suggest that this business give their drivers some sort of driving test before allowing them to represent the company with dangerous and aggressive driving.
