Cape Charles Cab, Cart, & Carriage

I needed transportation from Machipongo on the Eastern Shore to/from Norfolk airport. Tim & Julie were the perfect solution. They responded quickly to my booking requests and stayed in touch to reconfirm the dates/times. They arrived as scheduled for pickup and I feel I paid a reasonable price. On my trip to the airport I had a chance to get to know Julie and she showed me a great shortcut to the airport. Tim drove me home on the return trip and was interesting to talk to and very friendly. I had a great experience and will definitely use Tim and Julie again. The company is fully licensed and insured - a major plus. Great to be able to use a business located on the Shore!

Tim was great. I whole-heartedly recommend Tim and Cape CharlesTaxi. I had sailed to Cape Charles from Hyannis, MA with no clear plan how to get assorted crew back to MA, NJ, and DE. Google and "Bingo," Tim was there to take us to Norfolk airport to get a rental car. But the BEST part was that in the sadness of leaving Cape Charles, I left a bag at the marina. Tim organized a bag search & rescue with the marina staff. The marina held the bag which I picked up later that day when driving north. Without Tim's help and helpful suggestions, my bag might have been lost forever. Tim, Thanks Again.

I had an amazing story with Tim. I hired Tim last weekend to take me from Cape Charles to Norfolk airport on a sunday afternoon. I was flying home after fishing with friends. We get half way across the bay bridge tunnel bridge and hit stand still traffic. For 6 straight hours we sat still. You get to know the character of someone quickly in a car in stand still traffic. Not once did Tim become angry or did he ever ask me to give him more money despite it taking him an entire shift for 1 fare. Tim is an upstanding and enjoyable man that I would absolutely recommend his services. Thanks Tim for turning a terrible situation into a memorable story.

Tim was great! He arrived to pick us up right on time and dropped us off at a local restaurant. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. When we called him for our ride back, he was there in minutes. His vehicle was spacious and clean. We would highly recommend him!

Our taxi driver Tim came quickly and saved us from a bad situation with a Lyft driver who accepted our airport ride request a week earlier but cancelled about an hour before the scheduled pickup - apparently that happens a lot when some uber/lyft drivers realize at the last second that there’s a tunnel toll to get from the eastern shore to Virginia Beach/Norfolk. I wish we’d booked a ride through this company from the start - the rate was very competitive, Tim was a great/friendly driver who is licensed/insured and is also local so your fare money is going right back into the local community. You can’t go wrong and we’d recommend them without qualification!
