My elderly father had a medical emergency to the ER and then required an immediate transport back to his assisted living community in the wee hours of the morning. City Medical Transportation came highly recommended by Fair Oaks Hospital. I feel very fortunate to have had the pleasure to speak with the dispatcher who was both kind and understanding about the situation and my father's needs. I feel that he made my parent a priority and did everything he could to get Dad home safely. The driver sent was amazing. I appreciated how respectful he was of my father in his advanced age and spoke to him respectively. He made sure that Dad was warm with a blanket and buckled safely into the vehicle. He insisted on wheeling my father into the facility to be sure that he was safely inside. I just can't say enough about how impressed I am with their transport service. Blessings!
My mom and I were concerned about how to get my mom safely to her appointments and City Medical Transport (CMT) solved all of our problems! My mom was recovering in a wheel chair post-surgery and needed to be driven by medical transport to her appointments at Georgetown Hospital. CMT was called by her rehab center and I have kept their information for any future needs by our family.
We have been so impressed with CMT’s professionalism and attention to detail and both drivers who picked us up (Ray and Bilal) were exceptionally kind. On both her pick up trips, they arrived early and brought my mom to her appointments with time to spare. I also really appreciated how careful they were when transporting my mom as they buckled her in with so many restraints. Their drivers are also very skilled and expertly navigated really terrible traffic and drove cautiously so their passengers weren’t jostled –no small feat in DC traffic!
We are so happy we found CMT and will plan to use them whenever we need medical transport again – It is such a relief to know who to call.
Exceptional service! With barely a 2 day notice Ray accepted the job! He was professional, Prompt and the vehicle and medical equipment was clean and well maintained. Ray was courteous and kind to my father and cared for him during the 40 minute ride to his new nursing home. Highly recommend for the care and transportation of yourself, family members and/or loved ones.
We were picked promptly, even a little early and the driver helped load the patient and secure her in the van. He was a good driver and got us to our appointment in time and waited for us while we were in the doctor's appointment. The appointment ended late and the driver still waited for us with no additional charge. We had a friendly, safe trip home and I accompanied my wife in the van both ways. I would recommend this company without any reservations whatsoever. They were great!
Highly recommend using City Medical Transportation if you are in need of ADA vehicle for your DC or Northern VA trip. Perfect customer service and great pricing. You will be happy you used them!
