We couldn’t have asked for better service. Ryan was early, flexible and patient. He did an awesome job and we appreciated it so! My 93 year old Dad cannot walk so we depend upon van for wheelchair transportation.
We have several more appts. I’ll be calling Colonial.
I highly recommend Colonial Transit! Ryan is professional, friendly, and very responsive to phone calls. He answered all of my questions and gave advice as to what chair would be the safest for my dad to ride in. He arrived right on time to transport my dad and helped him get safely in and out of the chair. I was not there with my mom during his transport, but Ryan took time out of his busy schedule to call me and let me know my dad had arrived safely at his new facility. We will definitely be calling Colonial Transit the next time we need to transport my dad!
I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Colonial Transit LLC. My elderly, wheelchair-bound father was abandoned by Ryan after his medical appointment took longer than expected due to complications with his treatment. My father is unable to walk, and the hospital staff had to scramble to find him an alternative ride because Ryan left him stranded.
To make matters worse, Colonial Transit charged my father $400 for a ride from Newport News to Norfolk. Since they never returned him to Newport News as agreed, he requested a refund for half of the fare. The company's response (Ryan's response) was appalling. The exact words from him were, "That's not gonna happen."
This lack of compassion and professionalism is unacceptable, especially when dealing with vulnerable individuals. I strongly advise anyone in need of transportation services to avoid Colonial Transit LLC. They clearly do not prioritize the well-being of their clients.
Ryan was the driver for my father on two separate occasions. He was professional, prompt, and courteous each time. We kept his number and plan on using him again in the future!
Ryan was very prompt and extremely efficient at loading our wheelchair bound mother into his very safe and comfortable van. He made sure she was settled and was very attentive to her needs on the trip to Richmond airport. Ryan’s van was able to accomidate the rest of our family as well. Overall a hassle free ride for our family.
