The person did not even read my application and denied me reasons clearly explained and outlined in my application. This is why I do not ask for help, no one ever listens. Hell is a nicer place than this.
Don’t waste your time. You’ll do better standing on the corner asking for help. They request documents and when you send them they ask for more unnecessary documents. Very lengthy and time consuming process for pennies. They genuinely don’t want to help.
Mercy Medical Angels have been helping me with ground transportation gas cards for over a year. The staff is wonderful and helps with my application every step of the way. If not for the gas cards I would not be able to make some of my out of state doctor's appointments. I appreciate everything they are and do!
Mercy Medical Angel Wings helped me tremendously. The VA travel benefits refused to pay for my flight and my caregivers flight to Houston, TX from Oregon. The VA approved treatment and care of my service related injuries but not for travel. The cost of flight was a huge financial obstacle for my family. Without Angel Wings for Veterans I wouldn't have been able to afford the care. Thank you Mercy Medical Angels, yours was only resource for me and my family. Your coordinators did an outstanding job getting my family the support it needed when we needed it. Thank you so much.
