Patient Transport Systems Inc is the best! Professional, efficient, caring and dependable! Our brother had to be transported by gurney in a nasty storm at dawn and was wrapped, protected, and arrived on time at his medical appointment warm, dry and safe. We are thrilled with Patient Transport Systems and will use them exclusively for all our medical transport needs.
Patient Transport Systems, Inc was contacted by me for a gurney transport of a 77 year old COPD patient who is on 3 liters of O2 24/7. They arrived with empty tanks. They had to use the patient's tanks. They got lost on the way and charged the patient the mileage for their error. They wheeled the patient inside the Care Building at VCU CMH and left her there alone. They left the VCU CMH premises altogether without informing the hospital or her daughter of her location. After her doctor's visit, the hospital couldn't locate the transport people. They returned her to her residence with feces dripping from the gurney. They left with HER oxygen tank. After calling them, they returned her tank hours later by entering the yard gate and entering the home without knocking or calling out to inform her caregivers that they had arrived.
