My elderly mother was transported by Priority from the hospital to rehab. I was not able to accompany her to the vehicle because I was parked on the other side of the hospital. 1st of all I was not impressed with the man transporting her when he arrived to her room. He kept his dark sunglasses on the entire time. Even when he arrived at the rehab center and brought her to the room where I was waiting. She has to be on oxygen the entire time and he did not have a tank for her transport and the nurse had to give him one. I asked her how the transport was and the look she gave me was not encouraging. She says the vehicle was filthy on the inside with trash and dust. She also said the driver blasted the music the entire ride, which should have taken less time but she said he took an out of the way route (for which a person gets charged per mile) which I find very suspicious. Even the hospital staff said they didn't have the greatest confidence in them because they never arrived when they were supposed to. This driver showed up an hour after the scheduled time. Would not recommend.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
My husband was to be transported home from rehab today, and taken into the house. I arrived, packed him up and went to the nurse's station to see when Priority was to be here. That is when I found out they had just cancelled, their reason being "something came up."
WHAT??
So we are currently stranded at the rehab on a Sat. morning, while the Social Worker on call is scrambling for a service with integrity.
If anything changes and Priority can redeem themselves, I will let you all know.
I coordinate transports at Rehabilitation Center, I recently have came connected with Priority, and every interaction has been flawless! Very respectful and kind to the residents, and dependable!
Thank you for putting effort to changing our outlook with Transportation companies!
