The drivers are very helpful and kind. BUT this is the 2nd time this company has canceled my transportation with no warning—and then falsely claimed I canceled it.
I’m a wheelchair user with a bariatric body (260lbs, 5'9) and both times, not only was I left stranded, but I was blamed. On a previous occasion when they did show up, their last driver had just come out of the hospital and was too weak to provide the door to door service I had requested. On both cancelled occasions, Access2Care and I both confirmed my trip, yet when the ride didn’t show, we were told it was canceled “by the patient.” That is a complete lie.
After the Access2Care rep management pushed back, the transportation company then admitted they canceled the trip because I’m bariatric. If that’s the truth, then why take the trip bid at all? Why continue to accept these assignments—for the past 3 years—if you know you won’t follow through?
I have used this company for 3 years. I missed critical medical appointments not only today but previously because of this company. I’m also scheduled for another ride with this company this Thursday 7/24/25, but how can I trust them to show up when you’ve now canceled twice without warning, and then lied about it? I will be reporting this to my insurance company as well.
This isn’t just frustrating—it’s dangerous. Transportation is a lifeline for patients like me. Do better. Or stop taking the contracts.
My son Caleb gets a ride from RATS from home to his Day Support at the Magnolia Center each weekday. They are scheduled to arrive at 8:25. Three times in the first week (including today), they have arrived after 9:00, making my son late for his program and me late for my appointments and classes.
I knew about the existence of this organization before moving a half an hour away, and when I found myself without a ride to take me to the hospital for a procedure near them, I was efficiently scheduled and confirmed. The driver was conveniently a few minutes early, and six hours later he was waiting for me outside the hospital before thankfully taking me to pick up a prescription prior to dropping me back off at home thirty-five miles away. I am grateful beyond words to have found this level of hospitality to assist me with my medical need...
Properly scheduling pickups and drop-offs is absent because of lack of competence in the office. Schedule is made by a person that has stopped caring and seems burnt out, and it's ran by someone who has now clue what they're doing.

3 years agoFind a different bus company to use! Would not recommend to anyone. They are no shows and don’t answer/call back
