I’m going to make this very clear - this transportation service is incredibly unsafe for young children to use. Avoid at all costs and look elsewhere. I warn you as a parent.
I booked a transfer for my one-year child in a bodycast to go to the orthopedic office. I told the person booking the appointment that we specifically needed a stretcher because he is a one year old child in a bodycast.
To their credit, they came early with a stretcher, but the stretcher was adult size with no extra straps to secure young children. His body did not fit so he was very loosely secured. Also, it was 85 degrees and the stretcher was very hot and the back of the van had no A/C, which my wife didn’t realize until they started driving. My child was overheated and screaming. My wife immediately got him out as soon as they arrived.
When I called to discuss these safety concerns and ask for a refund, the person who booked the appointment said i never told her he had special needs (yet also confirmed that i told her he was a one year old child in a bodycast who needed a stretcher). I asked if she could play the recording of the phone call but she conveniently said it wasn’t recorded because it was the weekend (what…?). They then refused to refund our money and said we shouldn’t have gone in the transport if we felt unsafe. Wow, just wow. You want us to call 911 so we can make our appointment? Should we arrange another transport with a stretcher to arrive within 30 minutes? Unbelievable and unprofessional.
This is your warning. Avoid.
AMAZING SERVICE! I'd had nothing but problems w wheelchair transportation as I use it 6 to 7 days a week for the past 4 yrs UNTIL ROYAL picked up my standing order. They have NEVER let me down. Always on time, very helpful, courteous, and always willing to go the extra mile for me. No other transportation provider can compete! 10 OUT OF 5 STARS!
Super shady. I told them that we would not be using their services and yet they refuse to cancel the trips scheduled with them. They claim I don’t know how the process works but I’ve used similar services with the same portal before and the transportation companies are able to initiate a cancellation of a trip when requested by the member. It’s been done plenty of times before including canceling multiple months of trips just like what should have been done yesterday. Smells like fraud to me but according to them in too stupid to understand that.
The employees I interacted with were rude and disrespectful. They did not care who they offended and would not even acknowledge that they were being so rude and disrespectful when asked to stop. Further, sat in the waiting room of the doctors office while waiting to transport listening to inappropriate videos with the volume all the way up (no headphones, on speaker). They didn’t care one bit that they were bothering everyone else in that waiting room.
Worst driver I have ever seen. Encountered vehicle #50 on the highway today and I assume they aren't from the USA or must be so new since they didn't abide by the laws. Learn tbe laws to drive. Do better.
