I am a driver interested in signing up with UZURV. Many Uber and Lyft drivers are eager to work with a better company because these platforms have been unfairly cutting driver earnings. Millions of drivers are searching for better opportunities.
However, after reading several driver reviews, I am reconsidering my decision. It seems that driver support needs improvement, and I don’t want to waste my time if these issues are not addressed.
Additionally, the requirement for 2015 and newer vehicle models feels a bit excessive. Many experienced drivers have well-maintained older vehicles that are still in great condition. Easing this requirement could attract more drivers to your platform.
I encourage UZURV to prioritize driver support, as drivers can be your best marketing tool through word-of-mouth. If you take care of your drivers, the company has the potential to grow into a billion-dollar success.
I use UZURV via AccessLYNX primarily for work. It has been a huge help and I am so fortunate to have them as my primary service provider!! The drivers are generally kind and talkative, vehicles are clean/safe, and I LOVE not having to use the van service from AccessLYNX- UZURV is truly the best! I do wish there were ways to track the vehicle when it is on the way or to reserve a more precise time when booking trips instead of going through the TransDev/AccessLYNX website and customer service phone number (which is awful, they should take hints from UZURV's operations!). I also wish the service was available after midnight- I HATE getting stuck on those vans when getting a ride late at night, UZURV doesn't operate overnight according to AccessLYNX. Overall I love UZURV and I look forward to getting rides for years to come!
I absolutely love the service! The app is user-friendly, and the customer support is truly phenomenal. The vehicles are always new, clean, and safe, making for a comfortable and reliable experience.
While there may be occasional instances where a driver falls short of the company's high standards, UZURV's customer service is quick to address any concerns and ensure a positive experience.
I highly recommend UZURV for those that need paratransit services.
My husband was a much beloved and trusted driver for Uzurv for over a year. His riders “favorited” him and looked forward to his old world gentlemanly and caring demeanor. He went above and beyond in caring for his passengers vs some of the other drivers his riders complained about …..and they continually expressed their gratitude to him. Several riders were perennial “late birds”, but he was always patient and understanding of their disabilities.
Tuesday (04/08/2025) he summarily fired while he was waiting for his rider in the school parking lot. As it turns out, it was this same rider whose family had requested my husband’s cell so that the group home supervisor where the rider lived could communicate with him about the medication transfers/signatures etc required could be arranged in advance of a pickup on weekends when my husband would drive him to his parents house almost every Saturday morning. Over the last year, this young man became more comfortable despite his physical, mental and speech challenges to feel safe, respected, and open up to have conversations with my husband. My husband cheered him on in his personal goals he began to express. When the group home supervisor or his parents put up rides for him for the week, the requested rides often sat in cue if my husband had a schedule conflict because most drivers probably didn’t like driving him with his personal often off-putting behavior.
Recently, after the group home and parents had communicated with my husband about medication instructions/signatures required, the young man got the cell number and sent texts hoping my husband had space in his schedule for the appointment times he needed. When the young man communicated he had submitted the rides, they did not show up in the feed, nor were they picked up by other drivers. My husband attempted to communicate with Uzurv about the problem. Rather than address the concern for the call, my husband was suspended (“because he had given out his cell #) and his Uzurv screen went blank, leaving the young man high and dry as well as his other riders scheduled the rest of the day. My husband was shut out with no ability to have a conversation with anyone at Uzurv. My husband is devastated that something so innocent in responding to a family’s need was construed as a fatal violation of Uzurv. Uzurv lost a dedicated, kind professional man. It is wrong that there is no mechanism to which my husband can plead his case for review and seemingly part and parcel of the problem with Uzurv……..as a company governed by a computer matrix with no real human connection other than the low level usually pleasant customer service folks who respond when there is a pickup problem with a rider. In no way was Uzurv harmed in any way whatsoever, but its non human centric impersonal system wrongly harmed my husband and ultimately his riders.
20% percent of the time UZURV can't provide me with wheelchair accessible transportation. You would think that they would obtain more contracts with other paralift transportation to be able to provide wheelchair accessible transportation for those that are disabled and unable to transport from a wheelchair to a seat in a car. This is so ridiculous unable to have enough contracts with paralift transportation companies especially with them having a contract with Pace under the Rideshare Access Program
