VIP Medical was excellent! I booked them for Thanksgiving Day to transport my mother for a family dinner. He was one of only a few transports available that day. Price was reasonable and fair. Van was clean and comfortable. Service was excellent and with a smile. I would definitely recommend VIP for your transportation services, and I will be calling Mr. Smith again.
Smooth trip. Mr. Smith was so nice and patient with scheduling. We went two hours one way and it was a nice smooth ride. No problems at all. Would use again in the future.
This is a great service I needed roundtrip medical transportation for my wisdom teeth extraction, so I looked online and saw a couple of different companies and options, but I glad I chose VIP Medical Transportation. My driver was Christopher who was very professional. He was on time and drove well. The vehicle he picked me up in looked to be a modified Minivan with the company's name branded on the sides. It also appeared to be a space in the back for wheelchairs I'm assuming. I also believe the vehicle was equipped with cameras on the inside. To book an appointment you can either call or use their website. I decided to use the website and got an email response back from the owner within an hour saying they had availability and that he his company didn't do hidden fees so the price your given is all what you pay. Payment was done over the phone.
When our usual transport service was unavailable one day, I had to find another. Based largely on its five 5-star Yelp reviews, I decided to try VIP for taking my wife to her chemo treatment. We just returned from that trip, and I’m writing to warn everyone about the absolute worst experience we've ever had or even imagined.
The team that arrived was made up of the company’s owner and a woman, both middle-aged and both perfectly nice people. They seemed unfamiliar with the stretcher, moving furniture around to get next to bed (never a problem before). Then they were unable to smoothly move my normal-size wife from her hospital bed to the stretcher - it took a lot of pulling and rough handling (again, never a problem with other services). The rough treatment continued into the van, yanking, lifting, jerking around to get the stretcher in position. Then, on a record-breaking hot day, my wife was panicky because she couldn’t breathe in the stuffy, hot back. Barely any air coming from vents, but we were told cold air was blowing really well up front! The owner seemed unfamiliar driving using a GPS, missed several streets even when I told him where to turn. At destination, they had trouble getting stretcher into elevators (I had to suggest they put the rear handle down). On the drive home, GPS had wrong destination and was taking us the wrong way, until I told him he had to turn around. Finally back in my wife’s room, they couldn’t get her back into her bed and had to get three medical staff to help (NOT their job). Then they had a strap wrapped around the catheter tubing and nearly pulled it out! Horrendous and traumatic experience - I would NEVER let them transport any of my family again! AND they charge 10% more than anyone else for the privilege.
